Welcome to our recruitment page. As with any high-performing school, The Ongar Academy seeks to recruit the highest calibre of staff in all areas of the school. Staff working at this school are able to work with enthusiastic and motivated students and are provided with excellent opportunities for Continuous Professional Development (CPD). We exploit our links with local teaching schools and universities in order to ensure professional study (e.g. MEd, PhD) can continue if staff choose to pursue this.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. Full employment checks and an enhanced DBS disclosure are required for all posts.
